2015 Ford Mustang

2015 Ford Mustang is a car that’s gorgeous eyes mostly, and it moves forward in the nameplate important ways: independent rear suspension in line, turbocharged four-cylinder version of the performance, and much more. But many of the key specs have only vaguely outlined — to this day.

Now, the company has revealed the strength and weight of the info in the coupe, at least, the V-6, EcoBoost, and GT trims.
Horsepower:
Mustang Ecoboost: 310 hp, 320 lb-ft
Mustang V-6: 300 hp, 280 lb-ft
Mustang GT: 435 hp, 400 lb ft.

Weight:
Mustang EcoBoost: 3,532 lbs (manual), 3,524 lbs (automatic)
Mustang V-6: 3,526 lbs (manual), 3,530 lbs. (automatic)
Mustang GT: 3,705 lbs. (manual), 3,729 lbs (automatic)

So how do the numbers stack up to the previous generation Mustang? V-6 advantage 30 pounds in manual trim, and 12 pounds with the automatic, while losing 5 horsepower and stay flat on the torque. Mustang GT gains 15 hp and 10 lb-ft, while getting 87 lbs in manual trim and 54 lbs as automatic.

EcoBoost, an all-new, doesn’t have a point of comparison for last-gen car, but check at 6 lbs more than 2014 base V-6 automatic, and 36 lbs more base V-6 manual.
In addition to the numbers of weight and strength, Ford also revealed some new equipment for Mustang, including the trio of brake system, a performance package for the EcoBoost and GT Mustang, and statistical distribution of weight.

2015 Ford Mustang claims to the best weight distribution for the Mustang, 52 percent on the front axle and 48 percent behind. 2015 Ford Mustang  GT bears 53 percent above the front axle.

As for the brake kits, base V-6 EcoBoost Mustang and standard kit is a two-piston front setup on 320-mm rotor, with a single-piston rear caliper clamping 320-mm rotors. EcoBoost performance package upgrade and the standard Mustang GT brakes are four-piston front calipers on rotor 352-mm, with single-piston calipers at 330-mm rotors in the rear. Mustang GT performance upgrade pack adds six-piston front calipers Tinted 380 mm rotor and single-piston rear calipers with 330-mm rotors.

Ford noted that the standard brake package Mustang GT Mustang GT 2014 equivalent Track setup package — and it is the same package as you would get with an EcoBoost Mustang performance packs 2015.

Other performance package upgrade is divided in the EcoBoost and Mustang GT include:
Upgrade springs, bushings and rear monotube shock
Improve the ability of cooling for track use
Rear anti-roll bar thickness
Bracing strut tower
Upgraded ABS, stability control, and power steering tuning
The Center gauge package

Special upgrade for the EcoBoost Mustang performance package, in addition to the brake system mentioned above:
Ebony black 19 x 9-inch alloy wheels with tyres Pirelli 255/40 in each corner
3.55: 1 final-drive ratio

2015 Mustang GT performance packs also obtain:
Ebony black 19 x 9-inch alloy wheels with 255/40 Pirellis front and 275/40 rear Pirellis
3.73: 1 final-drive ratio
Unique front splitter with improved front brakes air conditioner

2015 Ford Mustang So, in short, we now know what the new Mustang brings to the table. Ultimately, however, this specification gives only a bare outline of the car’s character. For the final answer is Mustang on how well – or not-we have to get behind the wheel and put it to the test.
