2015 Ford Mustang is a car that’s gorgeous eyes mostly, and it moves forward in the nameplate important ways: independent rear suspension in line, turbocharged four-cylinder version of the performance, and much more. But many of the key specs have only vaguely outlined — to this day.

Now, the company has revealed the strength and weight of the info in the coupe, at least, the V-6, EcoBoost, and GT trims.
Horsepower:
Mustang Ecoboost: 310 hp, 320 lb-ft
Mustang V-6: 300 hp, 280 lb-ft
Mustang GT: 435 hp, 400 lb ft.

So how do the numbers stack up to the previous generation Mustang? V-6 advantage 30 pounds in manual trim, and 12 pounds with the automatic, while losing 5 horsepower and stay flat on the torque. Mustang GT gains 15 hp and 10 lb-ft, while getting 87 lbs in manual trim and 54 lbs as automatic.

EcoBoost, an all-new, doesn’t have a point of comparison for last-gen car, but check at 6 lbs more than 2014 base V-6 automatic, and 36 lbs more base V-6 manual.
In addition to the numbers of weight and strength, Ford also revealed some new equipment for Mustang, including the trio of brake system, a performance package for the EcoBoost and GT Mustang, and statistical distribution of weight.
